About Shikari Devi wildlife sanctuary

Shikari Devi wildlife sanctuary is spread across the lower & middle himalaya range in Himachal Pradesh. Covering a very large area of forest it connects Karsog Valley to Bagsaid, Janjehli Valley to Thunag Valley , Devigarh / Devidarh  to Kamrunag, Saroa Mata to Tungasi Garh (Tungasi Dhar). Shikari Devi Sanctuary is a home for various varieties of species of wild animals such as Deer, Leopard, Tiger, Bear, Sehal, Rabits.  

This wildlife sanctuary was established to preserve various varieties of animals in this reason. Currently this wildlife is under RO Karsog & under control & management of DFO Kullu , Himachal Pradesh.

Very peaceful environment & friendly peoples. A lots of spiritual destinations , medicines to be explored in these high hills. Plan yours travel with us. We will guide your for all kind of your travel needs. Preferred time to visit Shikari devi wildlife is after february month after ice start melting and ways are open across the wildlife area. Most of time hills are covered in snow starting from December month till April/may months. Always contact locals or forest department before planing any visit.

Time we prefer:- - End of March : After snowfall. - Early December/Jan: Snow covered hills, through road only if open! - July/Aug/Sept:- Green hiilly views.
